The food is great ! Is perfect i love it so much, so much so that i have to return here at least once before i go!The service is grate, awesome waiter, awesome music, great atmosphere.is really cozy and it has great pricesoverall is a 10/10 for me!
It is an amazing culinary spot that captures the essence of local charm and creativity. The interior feels reminiscent of a boat, with warm wood wall panels and a vibrant aqua-colored floor that evokes a unique maritime atmosphere. Adorned with quirky, local artwork, the space bursts with personality, creating an inviting backdrop for diners.Seating is snug but intimate, encouraging a cozy dining experience that fosters connections among guests. The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the Spaghetti Nero di Seppie, a standout dish that reflects the restaurant's dedication to fresh, high-quality ingredients. The pasta is perfectly cooked, enveloped in a rich ink sauce that encapsulates the flavors of the sea while complemented by tender pieces of cuttlefish.Overall, Puppa Bar Venezia offers a delightful blend of artistic flair and exquisite cuisine, making it a memorable stop in the heart of Venice.
Very patient and nice waiter. The dishes were nice. Had plenty to drink since their menu includes a drink and a coffee. My carbonara had too little bacon, but since the other ppl’s plates had plentiful, i assume i was unlucky probably because it was cooked together. Overall a cosy place to chill and have a meal in venice
Tiny restaurant in a small and quiet alley, but quite busy at lunch time. Waiters were very nice and helpful and we had a good lunch time and a coffee break. Comes in a compulsory set menu which is maindrinkcoffee either 15 or 18 depending on selection. Paccheri is yummy and interesting.
Very “hole in the wall” type of restaurant. They did not have an open table the entire time we were there and they made it work.I strongly recommend the spaghetti a Nero di seppia, as it was a very memorable dish! Everything was also reasonably priced considering the type of food they’re serving. The servers that assisted us were also very kind and helpful.
We had a late flight into Venice and were so glad we found the Puppa Bar still open and serving food. The squid ink pasta was really tasty and definitely worth ordering. There was a special deal available: pasta, drink and coffee for 18. The staff welcomed us in and were so friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to visit again if we return to Venice in the future.
I recommend this place to anyone visiting Venice! I had the best risotto I've had in a while, the portion was big enough for 2 people. I had a pretty good Hugo Spritz for only 4 euros. It's a place located on a quieter alley, the waiters are very nice and make the experience a pleasant one. I would love to come back!
